Kareem Roberts – President & Founder
Kareem Roberts grew up in Brampton and New York City. He obtained his Bachelor of Business Administration from Algoma University, then he went on to complete his MBA from Laurentian University and currently completing his Doctorate in Business Administration from Herriot-Watt University in the UK with the goal of becoming a university professor.
In 2013, Kareem began seeking out ways in which to add deeper substance to his life experiences and career ambitions. He packed up and traveled to over a dozen nations; seeing the effects of contemporary world dynamics, and deeply empathizing with global disparity. This awakening experience created the momentum, and was the catalyst for K-ROBS Social Enterprise.
Anastasia De Lyon – Vice President & Co-founder
Anastasia grew up in Toronto and always wanted to make a difference for marginalized children and youth. Anastasia holds an honours advanced diploma in Child and Youth Work from Centennial College. Anastasia won Miss Black Beauty Canada – a competition that awards strong female role models. Anastasia plans to spend years to come empowering women within the community. She is passionate about helping and giving back to the community.
Spencer Place – Marketing Director
Spencer is a well-travelled marketer who understands that stellar ideas come from all walks of life. Growing up in Hamilton, Ontario, Spencer developed a deep passion for helping out wherever he could, using the skills he had. After earning his honours certificate in Social Media Compliance Management, Spencer dedicated his skills to helping organizations harness the power of modern media. Spencer loves to spend his time snowboarding in the mountains, surrounded by nature and making new friends. Spencer is always looking for ways to positively impact the lives of others and believes that education and a positive attitude are the keys to life-long success.
